About this item
- TEARLESS FORMULA SAFE FOR KITTENS: Mild surfactant formula produces a low-irritation lather that will not sting if it makes contact with the eyes, making it safer for bathing young kittens who may be less cooperative.
- BUTTERMILK GENTLY CLEANSES AND SOOTHES: Naturally derived buttermilk helps cleanse the coat without stripping natural oils, providing a gentle wash that leaves fur soft and supports skin comfort in kittens with sensitive skin.
- HONEY CONDITIONS AND SUPPORTS PH BALANCE: Honey naturally conditions the coat, helps regulate the pH balance appropriate for feline skin, and adds a light sheen without requiring a separate post-bath conditioning step.
- 99% NATURAL ORIGIN FORMULA: Made with 99%+ naturally derived ingredients and formulated without chemical detergents, parabens, phthalates, sulfates, synthetic fragrances, or colorants, for a cleaner kitten grooming option.
- PH BALANCED FOR FELINE SKIN: Formulated specifically for cats and kittens with a pH appropriate for feline skin rather than human skin, helping protect the skin barrier during bathing and avoid post-bath dryness or irritation.
- LOW LATHER RINSES CLEAN EASILY: Gentle low-lather formula rinses out of the coat thoroughly with warm water, leaving minimal residue and making the rinse step faster and less stressful for kittens during their first baths.
- 80% POST-CONSUMER RECYCLED BOTTLE: Packaged in a bottle made with 80% post-consumer recycled materials as part of Burt's Bees for Pets' commitment to responsible packaging practices and sustainable product sourcing.

Product description
Burt's Bees for Pets Tearless Kitten Shampoo uses a 99%+ natural origin formula with buttermilk and honey to gently cleanse and condition kitten coats. The tearless formula uses mild surfactants that reduce the risk of eye stinging, and the buttermilk and honey combination cleanses without stripping natural oils while supporting skin comfort. The formula is pH balanced for feline skin and fragrance-free. This shampoo is suited for kittens and cats with sensitive or dry skin, owners bathing young cats for the first time who need a gentle and low-irritation option, and households that prefer fragrance-free, naturally derived grooming products. Compatible with all cat breeds. The 99%+ naturally derived formula is appropriate for kittens as young as a few weeks when bathing is required, and the pH-balanced, fragrance-free profile reduces the risk of skin sensitization during early grooming experiences. This shampoo is compatible with all cat breeds and coat types.
