About this item
- Healthy Mouth, Healthier Heart, Liver, and Kidneys: 80% of dogs over 3 have dental disease, and untreated pet dental disease can lead to heart, liver, and kidney problems. This VOHC toothpaste for dogs and cats is the only one chosen by the Veterinary Oral Health Council to control plaque and tartar. Daily brushing isn't a luxury, it's how Petsmile families protect their pet's whole-body health for the long haul.
- Calprox Powered, Cleans, Whitens and Remineralizes Enamel: Proprietary to clinically proven Petsmile, Calprox is a non-abrasive blend of encapsulated calcium, phosphates, magnesium, and minerals similar to tooth enamel. This dog toothpaste tartar remover re-mineralizes, strengthens, protects, and whitens teeth by dissolving the biofilm where plaque and stains first appear. Clinically proven, loved by pets and vets while gentle enough for daily use.
- Skip the Wrestling Match, No Brush Required: If brushing your pet's teeth feels like wrestling an alligator, this is the solution. The treat-like flavor means most pets actually look forward to it. Just put a pearl-sized drop of this no-brush toothpaste for dogs and cats on a treat or directly on their teeth and let their tongue do the rest. They can eat or drink right after, no rinsing, no waiting, no wrestling.
- What's Not in It Matters, Human-Grade Ingredients: Made in the USA from human-grade ingredients, this hypoallergenic toothpaste for cats and dogs is vegan, BPA-free, and free from parabens, sulfates, silica, and animal by-products. Safe for puppies, kittens, adult dogs and cats, small breeds, large breeds, and senior pets, the one tube the whole family can use.
- London Broil Flavor, the One Beef-Loving Pets Beg For: Savory beef notes with a slow-cooked depth, this dog toothpaste flavored like real beef tastes more like a treat than toothpaste. Even the brush-resistant dogs and skeptical cats line up once the tube comes out, and brushing time becomes a moment they actually look forward to. The taste comes from artificial flavoring with no animal proteins, so pets with food allergies can enjoy it too.

How long should a tube of Petsmile Toothpaste last? Does it expire?
Our Professional Pet Toothpaste never expires. The 2.5 ounce tube is a 4 month supply & the 4.2 ounce tube is a 6 month supply.
How do I apply Petsmile Professional Pet Toothpaste?
Simply apply Petsmile Toothpaste on your cat or dog’s teeth and let their tongue do the rest. However, for best results, we recommend brushing your pet’s teeth with our Petsmile Professional Pet Toothbrush or applying with our Applicator Swabs.
What is Calprox?
Our proprietary breakthrough Calprox formula is an encapsulated form of Calcium Peroxide and minerals. Calprox is as safe as water on your pet’s enamel.
How does Calprox work?
Calprox works by gently dissolving the protein pellicle a bio-film that forms on your pet’s teeth, and re-mineralizes enamel. It is that biofilm which plaque, bacteria, and stains adhere.
How often should I brush my pets teeth?
Using Petsmile Professional Toothpaste daily will significantly improve the oral health of your dog or cat. It’s been proven that good oral health will help prevent heart, liver, and kidney diseases.
